A report in http://www.lowcostportugal.net today and based on IATA slot allocation lists from the website of Portuguese Airport operator ana.pt states that Ryanair has made a request for over take/off 4000 slots at Lisbon Airport (Portela) for the IATA winter seasons between November and March 2014.

It is already late for announcing routes for this period. lowcostportugal.net posits that this may be a negotiating tactic on the part of Ryanair to bring pressure on the new owner of airports authority, ana.pt to reduce landing fees.
