Authentic Portuguese food in Lagos

We have a small problem in Lagos owing to the fact that we are in the Algarve and we are highly influenced by tourism. Menus are therefore adjusted accordingly.

Much traditional Lisboeta and Nortenha Portuguese Gastronomy is not really available here. (e.g. Açordas, chrouriços etc.) Remember that Portugal is still as it was during the times of Royalty! There is Portugal and there is the Algarve..."Reis do Portugal E Do Algarve"!

Many traditional "Portuguese" dishes are not available down here! Try to find a good "javali" (boar) dish down here!
