Madeira - Taxi Voucher System introduced
Portuguese Transport Magazine "Transportes em Revista" reports today that the "Associação de Industriais de Táxi da Madeira"(AITRAM) in co-operation with the Câmara Municipal do Funchal have launched a system of pre-paid taxi vouchers to “offer a more economic and more transparent solution for clients who opt to use taxis”.
These pre-paid vouchers will be on sale at Madeira Funchal International Airport, various hotels as well as other locations and can be used by both locals and tourists.
