Figueira village lies inland about 3 kms from Salema and 4kms from Praia da Figueira.
It is a small traditional Algarve farming village which today is a bit run down. However, there are cafés and small shops there and the Lagos toSagres to Lagos Bus service runs through the village 8 or 9 times daily.
One should be aware that the roads to and from Salema and Praia da Figueira are "STEEP" in places!
