Well, if you want to go to the Estoril area to see trees, green or otherwise, you are about 30 years to late! When I was a kid, the area between Estoril and Sintra was 8 to 10 kms of green pine forests! It was beautiful.
Today it's mainly concrete! True, there are trees lining some of the avenues and by the Casino but it's not what it was!

Funny that, because the only time I ever saw Bing in person was with my parents one evening in one of the old traditional "Folklore" restaurants (that no longer exists) in the Bairro Alto in Lisbon in the late 1960's.
Now if you want the original version of "April in Portugal", you need to go to Coimbra, (which almost always has green ) and listen to my acquaintances Joã Farinha e Co at Fado do Centro....
