Why all this fuss about Mateus????
40 years ago, when I was a young teenager in Lisbon it was all the rage among tourists. I know it is still a well known Portuguese Rosé and full marks to the producers for their success but there are other equally good Portuguese Rosés.

Be brave! Try another grape for a change! Experiment!
Portugal is not just Mateus!
(Although it is Licor Beirão....but that is entirely a different story!)
